AD 2110, the Earth is invaded by aliens. More military bases and cities are constantly being occupied throughout the world. To fight the alien threat, the World Alliance bring forth their ultimate weapon, the Lightning Fighter. Equipped with weapons such as the Lock-on Laser, Spread Shot, missiles and bombs, the Lightning Fighter is the Earth’s only shot at defeating the invaders. Nice Stages, powerful gfx & sound. Great music. Please update to the bigger iPhone 5 screen!

Its my favorite fighter game so far. Excellent shoot weapons & I love that u can continue after being killed - also great that u can come back to continue at the new level when u run out of continue chances. I sure hope theres lotsa levels (not sure how many yet) - at least create additional levels in separate apps- I sure would buy if under a buck each set of new levels - just make the bosses easier to fight off - Im at easy level yet have to waste 3 ti 4 lives just to kill it!! It just takes too long. If youre gonna make it difficult add new tactics for us to fight it off, dont just extend the boss durability for so long. Ok thanx for the great game overall ;)

Freaken fantastic game Ive logged atleast 4 day just playing this game. Please make a second with more types of ships and your choice of heat seeking rockets or straight shot.

This is by far one of the greatest shmups for iOS. Since the initial release, the developers have ironed out every issue that players have presented, and Lightning Fighter has blossomed into one excellent shoot-em-up.

Excellent game and a true bargain for the price. The game is pretty tough even at the easy level, but not so tough that one wont be able to finish it. If youre a fan of the old school shootem ups such as R-type or gradius, THEN GET THIS GAME! Happy shooting.

This game reminds of the old hardcore shooters. Ive yet to beat the game but I died on the final level on normal difficulty. The weapons in the game are all pretty balanced but it feels that they should be tweaked in terms of damage. My favorite is the lock on laser missiles which brings back so many good memories of Raystorm. There are almost zero slowdown issues except for the space one and the only issue i have on my gen2 itouch is the temporary lockup whenever a boss is loading but the game doesnt crash. Any fan of r-type, raiden or rayforce will love this game well worth the money!

Ive buy 2 ships and when I reinstall this game I have to buy those 2 ships again!? Ive wasted my 3 dollars for this game and their is no restored data for this game! I shouldnt buy this game in the first place. What a load of crap!! Gamers dont buy this game you will just waste your money to buy 2 ships over and over again when you try to delete this app on your iphone.

Is there a restore in app purchased ??? I would really like to have my other two airship that i already purchased back ...

Simple and easy to pick up. Challenging in the best kind of way! Update with more levels though!

One of the best arcade! game I have ever played... This saves me $$$$$ than wasting in the arcade games.
