Just as the title says it is stupid that you have to buy all the ships$$$! I mean come on!!!!

Best shmup Ive played yet on the iPhone, but they lose a star for how they rope you in with a 99¢ price tag just to find out each extra ship costs another 99¢

Then this is for you. Great hi res graphics and responsive touch control though on the small screen it can get annoying when your thumb is over the plane. Enemies are tough forcing you to keep on your toes and stick with the same weapon to charge your Super much faster. Love the Bombs = Hit Points aspect.

One of the best classic fighter pilot games.

Very good standard. Comparable to shooting games in arcade. Highly recommended!!

I think this game is worth $.99 the graphics are really cool sound sounds good the controls are very well done and its just a lot of fun to play I think its worth the money and I went ahead and bought it

This is probably the best scrolling shooter on an app! Very fun definitely challenging and flashy! Its no Raiden IV but its still good.

I wouldve given this game a higher score if it didnt ask to buy the rest of the ships. Thats simply unacceptable.

Reminds me of the good ol days when I was a kid at the arcade playing Raiden. Definitely a good buy! And for those of you unsure about buying the other planes: Just dont; the blue plane (Lightning) is the best imo. The purple planes (Thunder Bolt) beam doesnt lock on to a ship, but instead wiggles around toward the direction you move. If you do want another plane then Firestorm (orange plane) would be the best to buy. Its "Hyper Beam" laser is easily the most powerful weapon in the game. TL;DR: Great game to buy w/o the other planes, but if you do want some different weapons, buy Firestorm. Skip Thunderbolt until they update its beam to lock onto an enemy instead of wiggling around aimlessly.

This is a must try game, its kind of like a space crusader type game, but instead its upwards moving, not left to right. Download and enjoy!

Great game. Needs auto-save feature. Also needs iPhone 5 screen support for both landscape and portrait mode. Overall fun non-stop airplane action game!!!
